2. Description of Service

DirectoryNetwork provides the following services:

• Press Distribution: Your startup is featured across our network of 50+ niche publications
• Editorial Coverage: AI-generated unique articles tailored to each publication
• Wave-Based Rollout: Content is published over a 2-week period to mimic natural press pickup
• Analytics Dashboard: Track your publication status, view counts, and engagement
• Lifetime Access: Your listings remain live indefinitely after publication

• All payments are one-time—no recurring subscriptions
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe
• Payment must be completed before submission
• All prices are in USD

4. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our service (AI content generation and publication), refunds are handled as follows:

• Before Submission: Full refund available if you have not yet submitted your startup details
• After Submission, Before Publication: 50% refund if content generation has not yet begun
• After Publication: No refunds available once content has been published

To request a refund, contact hello@directory.network within 7 days of purchase.

5. User Responsibilities

By using DirectoryNetwork, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your startup
• Have the right to use any images, logos, or content you submit
• Not submit content that is illegal, fraudulent, or violates third-party rights
• Not use our service for MLM schemes, adult content, illegal products, or scams
• Not attempt to manipulate or abuse our platform
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

6. Content Guidelines

We reserve the right to reject or remove submissions that:

• Promote illegal activities or products
• Contain adult, violent, or explicit content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Are deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent
• Promote hate speech or discrimination
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Rejected submissions may qualify for a full refund at our discretion.

7. AI-Generated Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Editorial articles are generated using AI technology
• Each article is uniquely generated—not duplicated or spun
• Content is tailored to each publication's audience and style
• We use multiple AI models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, etc.) for content diversity
• While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors
• You may request corrections for factual inaccuracies

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit (name, logo, description, screenshots). By submitting, you grant us a license to use this content for the purpose of providing our service.

8.2 Generated Content

AI-generated articles created by DirectoryNetwork are owned by DirectoryNetwork. You are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to reference and link to articles featuring your startup.

8.3 Platform Content

The DirectoryNetwork platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by DirectoryNetwork and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Link Attribution

All outbound links to your startup from our publication network use the following attributes:

This indicates to search engines that these are paid placements. We do not guarantee any SEO benefit from links on our platform. DirectoryNetwork is a press distribution service, not a link-building service.

10. Service Delivery

• Processing Time: Initial processing begins within 24 hours of submission
• Publication Timeline: Content is distributed over a 2-week period
• Wave Distribution: Wave 1 (5-8 sites, Days 0-1), Wave 2 (10-15 sites, Days 2-4), Wave 3 (remaining sites, Days 5-14)
• Dashboard Access: Track progress in real-time via your dashboard

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

DirectoryNetwork is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Any specific SEO rankings or traffic increases
• Any specific number of views or clicks
• That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any specific business outcomes from using our service

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DirectoryNetwork shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service.

13. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of our platform or services
• Chargebacks or payment disputes made in bad faith

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Published content may be removed at our discretion.

14. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
